While our weekly worship service in the sanctuary has been cancelled, we are working to make a video recording available to you on-line through our St. Bart’s website. Last Sunday, we had an audio recording, and if all goes well, we will be able to combine the video component with the audio this week. Notice will be provided when this is in place.
One of the consequences of not being able to worship together at our church building is that we do not have a weekly offering to keep donations flowing into St. Bart’s. We have a dozen families on PAR (pre-authorized remittances), but this is not enough to allow us to continue to meet all of our regular monthly operating expenses. We are currently drawing on a liquidity reserve to meet expenses, however, the longer the present situation lasts, the greater the need becomes to receive donations through other channels. Some options for your consideration are set out below.
Simply write your cheque to St. Bartholomew’s United Church
And mail to 22 Abbey Road, Brampton ON., L6W 2T8
Or drop it off at the church
Interac e-Transfer is a convenient way to donate money at your convenience. All you need is access to on-line or mobile banking through your financial institution, and you can send money directly to St. Bart’s — without sharing any personal financial information. You specify an email address as well as a security question and the answer to that question, which we have preselected for you to use as noted below.
The email address at St. Bart’s is: firstname.lastname@example.org
The security question is: solar .The answer to the security question is: panels
The most effective way to give is through PAR (pre-authorized remittance). PAR is an automatic debit from your bank account where 100% of your
donation goes to St. Bartholomews You decide the amount of the monthly donation that you would like to make and how you want the money allocated amongst our various funds, such as Local Operations, Building, Outreach, etc.. You can change the amount or the allocation at any time. Your gift counts even on the Sundays you aren’t able to attend worship. PAR allows the church to plan ahead for our ministries. Here is the PAR Authorization Form
